Boney M su disko grupa koju je stvorio nemački muzički producent Frank Farijan. Sastav je karijeru započeo 1975. u Zapadnoj Nemačkoj. Članovi su mu bili Jamajčanke Liz Mičel i Marša Beret, Mejzi Vilijams sa Montserata i Bobi Ferel sa Arube.

Frank Farijan je pevao muški vokal u studiju, dok je Bobi Ferel pevao na živim nastupima. Godine 1978. Farijan je intervjuu naveo da ni Mejzi Vilijams nije pevala u studijskim verzijama albuma. Na koncertima su pevala sva četiri člana sastava, kojima su pomagali prateći pevači.

Najveću popularnost imali su tokom disko ere krajem 1970-ih. Najveći hitovi su im bili: Daddy Cool, Sunny, Ma Baker, Belfast, Rivers of Babylon, Brown Girl in the Ring, Rasputin, Gotta Go Home, El Lute...
